Lightweight Insulation Overboot
Boot covers with insulation are meant to be used together with boots in order to prevent feet freezing during stands or short hikes. Due to advanced ultralight Primaloft insulation covers help to keep feet warm. Second layer is made of membrane that keeps boots dry during rain or sleet. Bottom part of boot covers is made of abrasion-resistant Cordura material with flexible insulation that protects from cold and allows to roll covers for storage and transportation. Inner pocket is ideal for thermopack heater placement. Basic color is dark green, but special white covers are available for camouflaging in snowy terrain.
Recommended use: together with boots at low temperature and high humidity, for low physical activity tasks, when there’s no possibility to operate without shoes (for example, during active task phase in winter time). We do not recommend to perform long hikes in these covers though. In such case it would be more efficient to use gaiters that can protect feet from snow, as soles and welts of trekking or mountain boots can resist way higher impact than ordinary Cordura.
Boot Сovers 5.45 DESIGN features
- Three-layer membrane (water-resistance and vapor permeability no lower than 10,000 mm)
- 1000D Cordura sole and toe in matching color
- Polyurethane insole (thickness no less than 1 cm) between inner and outer Cordura layers
- Primaloft insulation (no less than 160 gr/cm2)
- Weight of two covers does not exceed 460 gr

- Inner part is made of lining material with pockets for chemical heater (thermopack) in foot lift area
- In order to put covers on, it’s necessary to open the back water-resistant zipper (zipper is made in matching color)
- Fixator in zipper upper part prevents accidental opening during operation
- Anti-slippery rubber band in the upper inner area
- Three adjustment points for optimal fit on the boot
- Free ends of adjustment cords are fixed so they do not bother other leg during walk
- Inner cover part that touches boot is made of 1000D Cordura that prevents quick wear out
