"Sarmat+" Insulated Poncho

The "Sarmat+" Insulated poncho is designed to keep warmth and can be used in combination with various types of clothing and tourist equipment. It is available in different colors and patterns: Olive, A-Tacs FG, MultiCam and EMR, which perfectly perform camouflage tasks. The form factor of the "Sarmat+" Insulated poncho is fully identical to the “Sarmat” waterproof poncho, i.e. it has the dimensions of 6.5 x 4.9 feet. Synthetic material is used as an insulator, which with its low weight perfectly retains heat, does not retain vapor coming from the body, and is also resistant to prolonged compression. The design of the "Sarmat+" Insulated poncho is a rectangular cloth, in the middle of which there is an opening for the head, as well as a hood. Adjustment of the hood volume is carried out by means of a special wader, in which a cord with a stopper is installed. When not in use, the hood is retracted into a special compartment and fastened with Velcro. On the front of the poncho, when it is worn, there is a spacious zippered pocket, where you can place various items: compasses, gloves, cutlery, etc. This pocket can also be used for packing and transportation of the poncho itself. There is a textile loop inside the pocket for mounting carabiners and lanyards. To connect the "Sarmat+" Insulated poncho with the “Sarmat” waterproof poncho on its four sides there are sewn buttons-quilts, which are inserted into special eyelets and connect the two types of equipment into one whole. On three sides of the poncho the double-lock zipper is sewn, thanks to which it turns into a summer sleeping bag. On two sides of the poncho there are adjustment cords with stoppers for tightening the neck of the improvised sleeping bag. Also, the loops formed after tightening the cords can be used to connect the "Sarmat+" poncho with a tourist hammock. This way the poncho turns into a special insulator for hammock (underquilt). Elastic slings with adjusting fasteners sewn on the sides of the poncho allow you to wear it like a jacket. To do this, you need to use the fasteners to gather the poncho halves from front to back. Due to its simple, but at the same time perfectly thought-out design, the "Sarmat+" insulated poncho can be used in a wide range of applications: a simple blanket, a sleeping bag, an additional liner for a winter sleeping bag, a lining under a waterproof poncho, an insulator for a hammock (underquilt), an improvised jacket. Low weight of the poncho (only 680 g) and small size allow you to easily place it in any backpack and always have a multifunctional insulator at hand.
