Russian 5.45 DESIGN company has developed Patrol suit for special force units operating in the mountain and forest areas. It is available in 3 color options: MULTICAM, A-TACS FG and RANGER GREEN.

Besides camouflaging in the visible spectrum, this suit also protects the soldier from detection by last generation night vision devices. Company designers used the most advanced technologies and fabrics to create this suit. The main SoftShell fabric is made from 91% nylon and 9% spandex. Due to the special weaving, the fabric stretches in 4 direction, doesn’t limit movements, breathes, enables liquid evaporation, as well as protects from wind and precipitation. Special DWR treatment creates a special texture reducing surface tension coefficient, so water drops just fall down from the treated material.

The cut of this suit is designed considering the needs of soldiers performing special tasks. For example, jacket pockets are fully compatible with the majority of the vests. Pant pockets enable to carry additional ammunition. You can find a minimal amount of hook and loop fasteners on this suit, except of the hood compartment on the collar and Velcro panel on the sleeve for identification patches. 

Almost all the pockets are equipped with a mesh, so they can be used for additional ventilation during especially dynamic tasks. Front pant pockets are reinforced and can be used to carry the knife. Designers also thought about knee and elbow protection, so both pants and jacket are equipped with the special pockets for damping inserts.

Patrol suit fits the concept of multi-layering system and is compatible with insulation layers and Hard-shell clothing items. Jacket front pockets are compatible with the vest. The shoulder area of the sleeve features Velcro panel for identification patches. There is a zippered ventilation slot in the armpit area. Elastic mesh prevents debris from getting inside the jacket. Simple design of elastic cuffs ensure durability and simple use. It also prevents the operator from creating loud noises, as it often happens with standard hook and loop cuffs. Elbows are reinforced with CORDURA 330D inserts. There is a special slot on the inner side of the sleeve that allows to insert the damping element.

Two-way zipper ensures access to the belt-mounted equipment. It is also necessary for the quick body access in case of a wounding. Neck-facing collar area is made from pleasant to touch moisture-wicking fabric. The integrated hood can be stored in the collar when it’s not used. The hood is compatible with a ballistic helmet. When the helmet is not used, the hood can be easily adjusted to the head size.

The elastic drawstring with stopper on the jacket bottom enables to adjust it to the hip size. Inner seams are additionally treated. Codpiece is closed with a high-quality zipper with puller and big button that can be opened even if the user wears gloves. Special textile loops on the pant belt enable to attach two-point suspenders. Cut-in pockets are compatible with knives. Side folded cargo pockets volume can be increased when necessary. Elastic straps inside the pant side pockets can be useful to keep the weapon magazines in place. Knees are reinforced with CORDURA 330D inserts. There is a special slot on the inner side of legs that allows to insert the damping element.

Plastic hooks on the front bottom of the legs enable to attach pants to the shoe lacing system, transforming pants to improvised gaiters. Additional buttons help to adjust the leg bottoms to the calf size. The removable paracord element prevents the pants from rolling up. The lower pants area is also reinforced with CORDURA 330D. The combination of high-quality materials, ergonomic cut and efficient colors make Patrol a special suit.
