"Wolverine 2.0" Insulation Pants | Review

Wolverine 2.0 insulated pants can be worn both by special forces operators and people that like outdoor sports. This model is suitable for temperatures from +5°C to +10°C and will protect from wet snow and freezing rain. Pants can be worn as an independent clothing layer or under the layer that would protect the wearer from rain, for example, Poseidon, or as an additional insulation layer to the main winter suit, for example, Irbis. The designers of this model managed to keep balance between functionality, small weight and simple construction. It is insulated with PrimaLoft Gold Active+ material. This material can keep you warm even if it’s wet. It also doesn't prevent excess moisture from evaporation during increased activity. It is a perfect material for such a clothing item.

Amongst the features of Wolverine 2.0 pants are simple construction, durability, ergonomic properties and maintainability. 

• 100% nylon outer fabric and lining of various densities with micro rip stop surface make this model lightweight, durable and easy to maintain: it dries quickly, doesn’t lose shape and adjusts to the wearer size.
• Classic button and YKK zipper on the belt ensure quality and secure fit. Special loops make this model compatible with both belt and suspenders. Moreover, the waist size can be adjusted with buttons and durable VELCRO ribbons.

• Elongated back side of the pants protects the lower back from cold when you bend.
• The pants are constructed with a full length side zipper system that enables quick putting on and off without taking your shoes off, which is especially useful in harsh weather conditions.

• Reinforced knees, bottom and buttocks areas. 

• The bottom of the pants can be adjusted to the shin size with buttons and durable VELCRO ribbons. Moreover, this solution will prevent the pants from lifting up.

As a pleasant bonus, both pants and jacket have integrated packing sacks. They are stored in the hidden pockets in the groin area of the pants and chest area of the jacket.
